Lymphatic Drainage Massage
Lymphatic drainage massage, often utilized within osteopathic manipulative treatment (OMT), is a gentle, specialized technique designed to stimulate the lymphatic system, which is crucial for eliminating toxins, waste, and excess fluids from the body. Through light, rhythmic strokes, this therapeutic massage encourages the natural flow of lymph fluid, promoting detoxification and enhancing the body's immune response. By targeting specific lymph nodes and pathways, lymphatic drainage massage can help alleviate swelling, reduce inflammation, and improve overall circulation.

Lymphatic Drainage Massage Face
The lymphatic drainage facial massage works on the lymphatic pathways in the face which can improve skin’s appearance. Beyond the aesthetic benefits, this may help reduce swelling in the face, muscle tension and sinus congestion.
Depending on your goal, there is the option to incorporate intra-oral osteopathic techniques (inside the mouth) to target the lower face and jaw. This technique is commonly used to help alleviate symptoms of TMJ disorder. It was popularized by Jennifer Lopez and other celebrities who refer to this treatment as buccal massage which blends a combination of osteopathic manual techniques including facial lymphatic drainage and intra-oral massage.
